Walk Free Ministries

During those two years Elvie Whelan and I established a feeding program "Jacobs Ladder," that feeds squatter families. We not only nourish their little bodies with food, we also feed their hungry souls with the Gospel.

To be part of a ministry team to help further the work of the Kingdom to the people of the Philippines,  please contact Walk Free Ministries.

Workers Togerther with God

In December 1991, Jim and Linda Tjelmeland, together with Francisco and Anamy Jocol, left Guatemala to enter Honduras as missionaries. The Lord had spoken to them during their four years as missionaries in Guatemala and said, "If you will plant yourselves in the middle of Honduras, I will give you the four corners." Today, Jim and Linda are seeing that promise fulfilled as Pastors invite them to come and teach their people all over Honduras.

Karla Sligh, Ministries for Wycliffe

Wycliffe was founded in 1942 by William Cameron Townsend. A missionary to the Cakchiquel Indians of Guatemala, Townsend caught the vision for translation when Cakchiquel-speaking men expressed their concern that the Bible was not available to them in the language they understood clearly. As a result, Townsend resolved that every man, woman and child should be able to read God’s Word in their own language.
